18th-century Blown-glass Apothecary Bottle - 18th-century Pharmacy Bottle
A globular bottle made of blown glass, likely used by an apothecary or in a laboratory, crafted from blue-green-tinted glass featuring numerous ripples and air bubbles, as well as firing inclusions trapped within the mass. The base of the neck is accented by a wide ring of glass applied while hot. The bottom has a significant excess of glass left by the removal of the blowpipe, causing slight instability when the bottle is laid flat.
