Small 18th-century Flintlock Pistol—signed "lazaron"
Small 18th-century flintlock pistol with a wooden frame, an iron miquelet-type lock plate, an external spring, and an openwork hammer. The barrel has chamfers toward the rear and a ridge at the muzzle. Brass fittings. Engraved with foliage and trophies of arms.
The lock plate bears an inscription that appears to read “LAZARON.” A connection to the signatures of the famous gunmakers Lazarino Cominazzo remains hypothetical.
