Apollo's Chariot, Prestigious 19th-century Bronze Plaque, 66 Cm, 10 Kg

Stunning architectural bronze plaque, rectangular, cast using French sand-casting method, with no visible markings.
A dazzling mythological subject: The beauty of Apollo, sun god, drawn by his quadriga of mighty horses, toward rising sun.
This type of decorative solid bronze plaque, with the quality of its chiseling and its weight of 10 kg for 66 cm, follows the tradition of French ornamental bronzes from late 19th and early 20th centuries.
Despite my research, I have not found any documentation of this specific depiction…
As found; it is evident that the plaque was once mounted, and likely had a wooden frame, which has not survived.
