A magnificent and rare Louis XVI-style bedroom set from the Napoleon III era, 19th century, crafted from light mahogany and richly decorated with marquetry and numerous gilded bronze accents.

This set consists of four pieces: a large mirrored wardrobe, two matching beds, and a nightstand.

The quality of this bedroom set lies in its remarkable cabinetmaking, featuring superb mahogany grain patterns arranged in butterfly-wing motifs, highlighted by delicate marquetry friezes and burl wood frames.

The pieces are richly adorned with gilded bronze fittings featuring foliage motifs, garlands, and decorative ornaments, lending the set a great deal of elegance.

The large three-door cabinet features a particularly interesting detail: it has two beveled mirrors, one on the outside and the other on the inside of a door, allowing for dual use.
