A superb, rare (and heavy) diving helmet, made of copper and brass, with an opening front porthole. Front and side windows are present. Mid-20th century. Displayed on an unvarnished wooden base.

Dimensions (with base). Height ~ 45 cm. Diameter of copper head ~ 30 cm. Old traces of surface oxidation on the brass fittings, and a slight "dent" on the top of the helmet (see photos).
