Single-door fir cabinet, entirely painted, dated 1818 on the upper frieze next to the client’s initials “L. S.” The structure features a rigorous architectural design, characterized by rounded corners and protruding molding on both the top and the base, the latter resting on bulbous feet.
The color scheme of the front is dominated by a brick-red background, featuring contrasting geometric panels in a powder-blue shade, framed by white and red fillets. The central panel of the door, with contoured edges, features two symmetrical bouquets of flowers tied with a ribbon, rendered in a color palette centered on shades of orange, white, and leaf green. Floral motifs also adorn the corners of the door, the beveled sides, and the lower drawer integrated into the base. The period hardware includes a finely crafted wrought-iron keyhole and exposed hinges.
