Pair Of Armchairs Made Of Mahogany And Mahogany Veneer, Restoration Period, 19th Century, Velour Upholstery

An elegant pair of armchairs made of solid mahogany and mahogany veneer, dating from the Restoration period.
The base consists of two "frog-leg" front legs and two saber-shaped rear legs.
The armrests are finished with scrollwork and rest on console-style supports, which are also decorated with scrollwork.
The backrest is slightly curved outward, and the top is beautifully arched and scalloped.
The upholstery of these armchairs, as well as the covering fabric, has been completely redone recently, so the seat is firm and very comfortable.
The upholstery fabric is an old gold-colored ribbed velvet with a studded finish; the pieces are in very good condition
