Set Of 4 Cabriolet Armchairs, Louis XVI–directoire Style, Cream Lacquer, Blue Re-chamfered, 19th Century

A beautiful set of four Louis XVI–Directoire-style cabriolet armchairs made of wood painted cream and accented with blue.
Each chair rests on four tapered, fluted legs.
The armrests are baluster-shaped and adorned with fluting. 
The backrest is flared in a “hood” shape; its upper crossbar is “hat”-shaped and framed by two small, pyramid-shaped carved motifs.
The seat is traditional; it is in very good condition and very comfortable.
The upholstery fabric features a magnificent design depicting two male and female figures.
These two designs alternate on the seat and backrest.
Please note that this fabric is in good household condition; however, it shows some signs of wear and a few light stains due to use, but it remains in very decent condition and does not need to be replaced immediately. there are also a few small signs of wear on the paint.
Regarding the frame of our chairs, we would just like to point out a very slight looseness at the joints of the armrest supports, which is very common for antique chairs. It goes without saying that this has no effect on the stability and sturdiness of these chairs.
