Louis XVI Style Bergère Chair With Ears In Lacquered And Gilded Wood, Antique Gold Finish, Napoleon III Period.
A very elegant Louis XVI style wingback armchair, dating from the Napoleon III period. It rests on four tapered and fluted legs. The woodwork is finely carved with ribbons and adorned with two rosebuds on the top of the backrest. It is made of lacquered wood in a garnet red and antique gold finish. The gilding shows some wear, and the whole piece has a rich patina from age and use, giving this chair considerable charm. The upholstery is original and includes a removable cushion in very good condition and very comfortable. The fabric is a beautiful velvet with alternating stripes and interlacing floral motifs. Dimensions: height to backrest 104 cm, seat height 40 cm, seat depth 50 cm, total depth 70 cm, width 72 cm. Please contact us for shipping costs.
