Spanish M1913 Artilleria Toledo Bayonet; 20th-century Sword, Militaria, Uniform

A beautiful Spanish Model 1913 bayonet, manufactured by the Artillería Nacional de Toledo, presented with its original scabbard. It features a long, straight blade with a rounded tip and a deep longitudinal blood groove.
The steel mount features checkered wooden grip plates secured by two rivets and a guard with a curved quillon. The heel of the blade bears the characteristic marking “ARTILLERIA NACIONAL – TOLEDO,” accompanied by the emblem of crossed cannons. The reverse side features a serial number as well as various inspection stamps.
The black scabbard, with a fluted body, is finished with metal fittings. The set retains a beautiful antique patina with signs of use, minor oxidation, scratches, and wear consistent with its military character and age, as visible in the photographs.
This standard-issue Spanish bayonet was adopted in the early 20th century and serves as an interesting example of the work of the Toledo arms factory, a Spanish city historically renowned for its production of bladed weapons.
