Bronze Clock With Cloisonné Enamel Decoration, Late 19th Century
Cage clock with cloisonné motifs. The structure is made of bronze adorned with polychrome cloisonné enamel. The frame consists of four beveled glass panes. The dial is circular, white enameled, and decorated with floral motifs.
Paris-made movement signed by the prestigious Samuel Marti company (S. Marti “silver medal” hallmark, 1889). Hour strike via a spiral gong. Large decorative pendulum imitating antique mercury-driven models.
