Indo-ispahan Rug, Wool And Silk, 300 X 245 Cm
Indo-Isfahan Carpet – Kork wool and silk.
An elegant Indo-Isfahan carpet, inspired by the great Persian Isfahan carpets; it is finely crafted from high-quality Kork wool, accented with silk details against a wool background.
The carpet features a remarkable Persian-inspired floral design, centered around a large, richly ornamented medallion. This motif unfolds against a deep blue background, enlivened by scrolling vines, arabesques, flowers, and foliage in a refined palette of blue, beige, ivory, powder pink, burgundy red, and brown.
The central design is surrounded by a dense, elegant floral composition, framed by several finely drawn borders—including a wide outer border in shades of powder pink and beige, lavishly decorated with floral and botanical motifs.
The silk accents add subtle contrast and a lovely luminosity to the design, while the fine Kork wool gives the piece a particularly soft, luxurious feel.
As you can see in the photos, the pile’s appearance shifts depending on the viewing angle.
Size : 300x245 cm / Fringes : 6 cm on each side
Condition : Good overall condition. There is a slight yellow discoloration mark, as well as a few very faint, inconspicuous stains visible in the photographs. The fringes are slightly disheveled and show minor soiling, though this does not detract from the carpet's overall elegance.
