Za-boshi-style kabuto; iron hachi with sixteen lamellae and eighty-six protruding rivets; gilded brass fittings.
Tehen made of brass, engraved with a stylized chrysanthemum and foliage motifs.
Agemaki made of orange silk.
Shikoro consisting of two gold-lacquered wooden lamellae, braided with orange silk.
Fukigaeshi made of gold-lacquered wood and brass chiseled with floral motifs, the entire piece covered with felt featuring floral and geometric patterns; clan crest appearing on each side.
Mabizashi / maebashi decorated in a matching style.
Polychrome wooden maedate depicting the dragon Ryū.

The kabuto is an object steeped in tradition within Japanese culture. An integral part of military armor, it was worn by high-ranking samurai.
