​A significant Napoleon III-era (19th century) bronze fireplace set with a brown patina and black marble, consisting of a pillar clock and a pair of matching candelabras.
​The clock: the top is sculpted with an antique-style allegory depicting a draped woman leaning on a book. The sculpture bears the signature of Auguste Moreau (1834–1917), a renowned French sculptor known for his neoclassical subjects and figures of great finesse. The rectangular black marble base incorporates a dial with Roman numerals flanked by bronze bas-reliefs depicting neoclassical scenes; the entire piece rests on chiseled claw feet and is flanked by side handles featuring lion mascarons.

​The candelabra: a pair of four-light girandoles supported by draped bronze caryatids. The chiseled candle arms are adorned with small chains. The black marble bases feature the same bas-reliefs and claw feet as the main body.
