Antique 17th-century Tuscan Sideboard, Lacquered In Ochre, With Four Doors And An Inlaid Walnut Top
Antique 17th-century Tuscan sideboard with four doors and three drawers. The body is entirely lacquered in an ochre tone, with pilasters along the uprights and a shaped base resting on bracket feet. The walnut-veneered top is embellished with an inlaid stringing and an ovolo-moulded edge crafted from end-grain wood, displaying a richly figured grain.
The piece retains its original lacquer and patina of age, as well as its original wrought-iron locks and the interior infills in Bolognese plaster. In good condition, consistent with its age.
