Elegant curved-wood parrot coat rack, dating from the late 19th or very early 20th century, circa 1900, in the style of Thonet’s famous designs.

This model features a tall central shaft topped with a turned knob, around which a beautiful arrangement of curved wooden coat hooks forms large volutes. A second row of coat hooks, positioned lower down, was designed to hold hats, coats, and accessories.

The particularly elegant base consists of four large curved wooden legs, reinforced by bent elements, ensuring the piece’s stability while maintaining a sense of lightness.

One will appreciate the wood’s beautiful, warm patina as well as the characteristic curves of bentwood furniture from this period.

A large, decorative, and functional parrot-style coat rack with a very attractive silhouette, ideal for an entryway, foyer, or bedroom.
