This drawing, signed Hartmann, is most likely a rejected design for the reconstruction of the Ornano Cinema, located at 43 Boulevard Ornano. The Grand Cinéma Ornano, modest despite its name, had opened in 1908, built by architect Pennequin. In 1912, it was expanded by architect Marcel Oudin and renamed the Cinéma Ornano. In the early 1930s, it was demolished, and a new cinema was built in its place by Marcel Gridaine. The Cinéma Ornano 43 closed its doors in 1981 and was converted into a supermarket. In 2022, the building was demolished to make way for a real estate development. Its facade remains.
