Animated view taken from Place du Bouffay of the municipal fish market in Nantes. Built on the eastern tip of Feydeau Island by the city architect Henri-Théodore Driollet, it was inaugurated in 1851 and demolished less than a hundred years later, in 1940, after the work to fill in the two branches of the Loire had integrated the island into the right bank of the river.
