Elegant covered bowl on a pedestal, Toh offering bowl made of fine Benjarong porcelain, Thailand, dating from the mid-20th century. This ceremonial piece with a scalloped profile is entirely hand-painted with a highly detailed design depicting an interlocking fish-scale pattern. The slightly raised enamels combine meticulous geometric lines with friezes in coral, orange, and bright yellow, highlighting the rim, the pedestal, and the lid’s handle. The interior reveals porcelain of impeccable whiteness. The base bears the manufacturer’s red art mark, applied under the glaze. A complete piece that attests to the refinement of tableware from the former Kingdom of Siam.
