Art Deco Covered Box In Glazed Stoneware. Louis Dage (1885–1963). Antony Period (1921–1934).

Charming glazed stoneware covered box signed "L. Dage," a work by the French ceramist Louis Dage.

It features a polychrome design of stylized cyclamens extending across the lid and around the entire circumference of the box.

The glazes display beautiful shades of cobalt blue, gray, green, and ochre set against a subtly textured, slightly uneven background.

The interior is glazed in salmon pink. Its color, size, and signature characteristics allow this piece to be attributed to the Antony workshop, where Louis Dage established himself in the early 1920s.
