Denbac Vase In Flammé Stoneware With Pewter Sunflower Decoration. Model 82 – Art Deco Period.
This vase, catalogued as Model No. 82 and signed on the base, features an elegant, three-lobed, twisted form. It is decorated with three applied pewter sunflowers, a relatively rare technique in the production of the Denbac manufactory.
The superb flammé stoneware glaze displays magnificent bronze-brown, blue and green hues, enhanced by the beautiful drip effects characteristic of Denbac pieces.
This is a fine example of Denbac’s Art Deco production, combining flammé stoneware with refined pewter appliqués.
