Silver-plated Birth Cup, Daniel Crégut, Paris, Circa 1955–1960

A charming silver-plated birth cup crafted by the Parisian firm Daniel Crégut, founded in 1946 and specialising in table silverware and birth gifts.
Slightly flared in shape, it is adorned with an elegant engraved frieze of stylised flowers and foliage set against a finely guilloché background, creating a subtle interplay of textures and light.
The underside retains its original hallmarks: the ‘DC’ hallmark accompanied by a tortoise, corresponding to the Daniel Crégut firm, as well as the inscription ‘METAL ARGENTE’, attesting to its silver-plated construction.

Condition: good overall condition. A few slight signs of wear consistent with its age.
