Display Item: Small Doll's Mandolin

Adorable little miniature mandolin, also known as a doll's mandolin, in bone, tortoiseshell and mother-of-pearl, dating from the 19th century.
Tortoiseshell top and neck edged with mother-of-pearl decoration.
Bone fingerboards, bridge and pegs.
Back with 8 sides separated by brass purfling.

Condition:
- missing mother-of-pearl.
- 1 bone peg broken, 1 bone peg split.
- Strings to be revised, as there should be 6 strings, but 5 can be distinguished, 2 of which meet.
- 1 rear brass fillet stands out more than the others.
