Hallmark (crowned "H") and discharge mark (dolphin’s head) for LA ROCHELLE 1781–89, guild mark for LA ROCHELLE 1784 (griffin with the date “84”) and the hallmark of Master Silversmith Jean-Baptiste CHASLON, who was licensed to practice in La Rochelle in 1760.
