Characteristic thumb rest in a cut-out shape and engraved with a man holding a hammer with a woman in front in a lying position, her head resting on an anvil, all topped with the words "I MAKE THEM GOOD". Engraving on the body "B PERNUY". Charge and Discharge Hallmark for ROUEN 1775-81, Common House Hallmark for ROUEN 1775 (Crowned Q) and Hallmarks (on body and thumb rest) of the Master Goldsmith Mathieu Pierre Michel LAMOUREUX received in 1769. Rare large Rouen Wine Taste from the 18th century in very good condition (tiny micro-crack on the edge) with "surprising" engraving of beautiful freshness and remarkably hallmarked, beautiful size with its + 116 grams.
