Large Grenoble-style stew spoon in solid silver, plain design with a monogrammed spatula. Hallmark and finessy mark for GRENOBLE 1756-62, Guild hallmark for GRENOBLE 1759–62 (letter “L” surmounted by two back-to-back dolphins, all crowned), and Master Silversmith Henri FAUCHE’s mark (his first mark, in use from 1752 to 1762: the crowned initials “H.F.” surmounting two crossed scythes), received in 1752. Rare Grenoble-style stew spoon in very good condition and remarkably hallmarked,
