Sculpture based on the famous work by Étienne Maurice Falconet (1719–1791) from 1757, titled “La Baigneuse.” The figure depicts a young woman checking the water temperature before bathing. The young woman is nearly naked; she is covering herself with a piece of clothing that she will no doubt discard in a moment to plunge into the water.
