F. Quinque, Limoges Porcelain Vase From The Tressemanes-vogt Factory—roses And Daisies
Artist: F. Quinque
A magnificent and very important Limoges porcelain vase featuring a floral design of stylized daisies set against black and green fields.
The shoulder is adorned with a ribbon of roses on a yellow background.
The rim of the neck is embellished with a circular gold border.
The two handles are angled and accented with fine gold.
Our porcelain bears two stamps on its base.
The first is in chrome green, indicating the manufacturer that produced the piece in white—Tressemanes and Vogt—for the period 1891–1907; the second stamp, in red, is from the Francis Quinque decoration workshops, established at 9 Rue Jean Jaurès in Limoges in 1962, which applied its decoration to an older blank piece from the former inventory of the Tressemanes and Vogt factory.
It also bears the signature “Henry Limoges” within the decoration, referring to the decorator who created this piece.
Dimensions:

Width from handle to handle: 29 cm
