Stockert Single-latitude Sundial - C. 1780

A single-latitude sundial made of colored paper mounted on a painted wooden base.
The sundial bears the signature "Stockert" on the paper dial and the signature "E. C. Stockert" on the paper of the compass.
The foldable gnomon is designed for a latitude of 49 or 50 degrees, corresponding to southern Germany, the Rhineland, and Bavaria, as well as parts of Belgium and northern France.
The dial is divided into 6–12 and then 1–6.
Despite some soiling, it is in good original condition and in good working order.
The dial measures 7.2 x 7.5 x 5 cm.
