Dollond Two-lens Telescope C. 1780

Lorgnette or small telescope signed "Dollond London" and dated around 1780. This telescope has the particularity of being equipped with two objective lenses giving magnifications of different power. The tube is labeled 1 and 2 depending on the lens used. The brass is scratched and has lost much of its original varnish but the optics work perfectly. The small spotting scope also retains its screw cap. 11cm folded and 4.5cm in diameter.
