Rectangular bronze plaque with a patina, depicting a python coiled among foliage. A work by René Thénot, a French engraver and medalist active in the Art Deco style, known for his realistic animal plaques. Smooth reverse; edge marked “BRONZE” with hallmark. Very good overall condition, beautiful patina, slight signs of wear on the reverse.
