Made of bronze gilded with mercury and polished with agate
Rests on a sea-green marble base.
The movement is housed in a case adorned with the spines of books in a library setting. On one side, a woman is leaning against it, reading; on the other, an armillary sphere.
The base is supported by four spinning-top-shaped feet.
In very good condition; the clock comes with its original pendulum and winding key.
The clock is in working order and has just been serviced.
