Candlesticks resting on four ball-shaped feet.
The base is decorated with cartouches and a laurel wreath topped with a fluted, chiseled shaft.
The socket is in the shape of an urn or "cassolettes" decorated on both sides with knots imitating silk.
The upper walls are decorated with acanthus leaves.
The top of the candlestick is removable.
French work from the 18th century, circa 1780.
