Hungarian-Belgian painter and relief sculptor,

Budapest, August 3, 1922 – Brussels, September 11, 1989.

Enrolled at the Hungarian Academy of Fine Arts in 1944, he was a student of István

Szönyi.

In 1948, he settled in Belgium.

The artist, who had been exhibiting since the early 1940s, initially painted still lifes and theatrical scenes.

He later created expressive landscapes, biblical scenes, and nudes. In Belgium, the view of the sea particularly captured his attention.

In 1977, he opened a gallery in Ostend to permanently exhibit his

works.

Toward the end of his career, he turned to abstraction.

His mentor: István Szönyi.

1971: Certificate at the New York exhibition, silver medal in Nice
