Louis XV-era (18th century, circa 1760) travel and self-defense flintlock pistol with two barrels, in a table-top case.
Round barrel with a central band; muzzle caliber: 10 mm; and a sighting mechanism on the trigger guard.
Beautiful lock plate marked “MOUILLARD à Villefranche.”
S-shaped hammer with a flat body.
Mechanism in perfect working order on both barrels.
Ornate bassinet frame.
Very beautiful, ornate walnut stock at the level of the hammers, with iron inlays.
Metal cap with lugs extending up the stock.
Double triggers under an engraved trigger guard.
Slot for the ramrod under the barrel; the ramrod is missing.
