A lovely little 19th-century santibelli or devotional globe.
Beneath a blown-glass globe are depictions of Joseph holding a fleur-de-lis, the Virgin Mary, and the infant Jesus at their feet.
The figures are made of wax, with sequins on parts of their clothing, set against a background of organza flowers.
Gold braid—likely added later—surrounds the base of the globe.
