Box taking up the codes of the Decorative Arts of the 1940s, in cream-colored cracked ceramic with gold highlights.
The lid decorated with a horse driven by a teenager, in the style of the productions of the Art Primavera workshop.
Signed P. Viard and dated 1948 under the top and the box.
Good condition, no shock, crack, restoration. Note, wear of the gilding in places, a retraction of cooking in a corner of the box (under the lid) and oxidation of dew cooking on the lid, all this visible in the photos.
