The rectangular base, slightly raised, is adorned with a beehive, scythes and flails, and laurel wreaths on either side.
Resting on six legs shaped like acorns.
White enamel dial displaying the hours in Roman numerals, (classic clockmaker’s use of “IIII” instead of “IV”).
Finely chiseled gilded brass hands.
Very beautiful and fine workmanship.
Magnificent luster of the original mercury gilding .
Complete movement with anchor escapement, silk-thread suspension,
In perfect working condition, striking on the hour and half-hour.
