A beautiful half-moon chest of drawers made of precious wood veneer and featuring rich marquetry.
It opens with three doors and three drawers.
The top is made of veined white marble with a recessed edge and raised panels.
The central door is decorated with a trophy scene featuring a ewer, musical instruments, flowers, and fruit.
Framed by fillet moldings, checkerboard patterns, and spandrel rosettes.
The side doors feature a diamond-patterned latticework and small flowers.
Scalloped crossbar, fluted spindle legs and uprights.
Gilded bronze ornamentation: pull rings and keys with laurel toruses, antique-style finials, lock plates, rings, and feet.
Door panel decorated with flowers and acanthus leaves.
High quality, circa 1900.
