Louis XV-style Hot-water Bottle Lamp With Floral Design
A Louis XV-style gilt-bronze hot-water bottle lamp. Resting on a Rocaille base, the central stem features three light arms in bronze chiseled with plant motifs; since the lighting is separate, the candle holders have not been altered! The lampshade, adjustable in height via a tightening screw, is made of sheet metal painted with a profusion of different flower bouquets. A wrought bronze handle facilitates handling. 19th-century period, functional electrification.
