Empire period mercury-gilt bronze desk clock resting on a marble base. The scene depicts the emperor leaning against a low stone wall in his pose with his hand tucked into his waistcoat. The dial is inserted into the foliage of the vegetation overlooking the scene. This dial is surrounded by a bezel chiseled with palmettes, in white enamel with double numbering and "Breguet" hands. The miniature mechanism is hand-wound. Beautiful mercury gilding without stains! No defects to report.
