André Mailfert Louis XV Style Cooler
Artist: André Lucien Mailfert (1884-1943)
A Louis XV style coffee table/sideboard in solid wood. Resting on four cabriole legs, the apron is shaped on all four sides, including a storage drawer at one end. The tabletop, surrounded by a wooden gallery, is divided into two sections: one half comprises two removable cylindrical ice trays for bottles, while the other half is a Carrara marble slab for glasses. The base is branded with a crowned salamander, the symbol of the André Lucien Mailfert workshops.
