Gilded bronze decoration of a dragon helmet decorated in gilt with a headdress and a mask of Medusa.
A small Eros giving the impression of coming out of the helmet , he holds an arrow and a bow.
White enamel dial accompanied by beautiful finely chiseled and worked gilded hands.
The clock rests on a first base with animated feet chiseled with channels and rocases, in the center of a drapery chiseled with swords.
The second base is decorated with friezes of bows, quivers and ribboned arrow, in the center thunderbolt of Zeus centered with a shield and ram's head, on the sides friezes of palmettes.
Empire period; A French work circa 1800 - 1805.
The clock is in good original condition (unrestored).
The mechanism is in working order.
