Exceptional and rare mounted parquet and gilt bronze commode ; after Antoine Gaudreaux's "Commode Médaillier".
This beautiful commode is based on a priceless original , which was supplied by Antoine Gaudreaux , ébeniste or cabinetmaker of the King , in 1739 for the interior cabinet of Louis XV , and employed mounts by the famous sculptor-bronzier Jacques Caffieri.
