Louis XVI Style Ormolu Mantel Clock
Elegant architectural clock resting on four fluted columns linked by rich laurel garlands and finely chased plant ornaments.
The upper part is surmounted by a large covered vase decorated with winged putti, inspired by Antiquity. The enamelled circular dial with Arabic numerals is framed by a gilded bronze frame. The glass case reveals the balance wheel decorated with floral and agricultural trophies.
The set features fine craftsmanship and perfectly illustrates the neoclassical taste of the late 19th century.
