Henriette Marty is a Limousin artist, best known for her enamels from the 1920/1950 periods, although she produced until her death. She worked for her father Alexandre Marty, also a famous enameller from Limoges, then they both worked for the Camille Fauré workshop, after which Henriette set up her own studio. Of course, she drew inspiration from artists such as Charles Bichet, Armand Guillaumin and Léon Jouhaud. Today, her works are highly sought-after by enthusiasts, especially her enamels, but her pastels are also quite prized as they are quite rare.
