Large Louis XV period "à la Reine" flat-back armchair.
This handsome waxed natural beech seat rests on four arched legs.
The two front legs are adorned with a fleururette motif and finished with an acanthus leaf.
The waistband is scalloped and curved, and is also embellished on the front crosspiece with charming floral work.
The arm brackets are curved and recessed with a protruding molding. They support armrests fitted with cuffs.
The backrest is violoné-shaped and adorned at the top with a bouquet composed of two florets and acanthus leaves on the shoulder .
This seat is in perfect condition, the structure is very stable, the upholstery is comfortable and the covering fabric is velvet.
