Mid-18th Century Louis XV Veneered Chest Of Drawers
Refined and unique chest of drawers, finely veneeredin walnut and olive burl, embellished with fruitwood fillet inlays. It featuresa slightly wavy shape on the top, both on the front and sides, while the lowerfront is arched. The piece is also distinguished by its semi-curved legs,typical of the period, and its four drawers—two small and two large—open withbronze keys and equipped with original locks, ergonomically designed forstoring various objects. The chest of drawers has been recently restored andpolished entirely with natural shellac, and presents itself as a very elegantand refined piece, capable of adding a touch of class and antique style to anyspace. Sienese-Tuscan manufacture from the Louis XV period, around the mid-18thcentury.
