Second Half Of The 19th Century Pair Of Shelves

Elegant pair of shelves in solid walnut, carved and highlighted with pure gold leaf. The decoration presents a typically architectural style, with a frame adorned with floral buds and, in the centre, intricate vegetal scrolls that stand out against a golden background, and a tabula ansata. These shelves, particular and refined, are able to give a touch of class and sophistication to any environment. Typical manufacture of the era in which Florence was the capital of Italy, in the second half of the 19th century, between 1865 and 1871.
