Curved Chest Of Drawers Louis XV Period, 18th Century

Superb Louis XV curved chest of drawers, from the 18th century, opening with two wide drawers on the front.
It is richly inlaid in Walnut and Walnut veneer, surrounded by Precious Wood Marquetry Filets, in geometric frames and butterfly wing motifs
.The top features an elegant marquetry with a central rhombus decoration, underlined by a peripheral fillet.

The curved front and curved sides rest on high arched legs finished with handsome gilt bronze sabots.
It is adorned with a high quality chased and gilded bronze trim: key entries, drop handles and central fall, in the Louis XV rocaille taste.

Highly refined workmanship of 18th-century Parisian productions, probably made around 1750.
Very fine cabinetwork and remarkable state of preservation, with a rich patina and buffer varnish particularly highlighting the precious essences.
